We've started our development work. We already have some material, of course, but over the next seven weeks we're going to fully create a marvellous hour-long show, worthy of The Fringe.
More good news! We now have a Twitter, to relay to anyone who's interested all the little update things and rumours about rehearsals and so on. @KCobraTheatre if you're interested, which I'm sure you are...
Good news! Two bits of it!
First, we have secured a full cast of four - details are on the appropriate page.
Second, we have secured a venue! We're booked into the Gryphon at the Point Hotel, at the west end of Edinburgh. Our production run is from Monday the 5th of August to Friday the 9th, the show starts at 4pm and lasts for about an hour. So tell people, and book time off to come and see us.
We still have lots to sort out though, like accommodation and a dress rehearsal and things, but the two most important things are sorted. Watch this space for more updates as we get closer to the Festival!
There's been lots of behind-the scenes developments, that I've been holding off on announcing until we actually have it confirmed in writing. But I can at least let you know that we have 75% of our cast - the final member depends on some of the details we're currently trying to sort out.
Have managed to get hold of someone to do some artwork for us. We have to do it now:

It is with great regret that we announce, due to the requirements of the benefits system and casting difficulties, King Cobra Theatre will not be producing a show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival until 2013. This site will be going into hibernation before the end of April, for resuscitation in early 2013. You can still sign up to the mailing list, and I would urge you to do so, in order to be the first with the news when the project starts rolling again. It will take simultaneous direct meteorite strikes on both Edinbrugh and Bradford to stop us producing an Edinburgh show next year.
Went to the EdFringe roadshow in Manchester to find out a bit more about doing a show at the Fringe. Got some good info, and two free Starbursts.
Paperwork is making things difficult.
We've started signing up actors.
King Cobra Theatre is a theatrical producing company, recently re-formed in order to take a show to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012. News and updates on our progress will be added here as & when.
